THOMAS W. BOUTTON, SR., age 88, passed away in Westlake on January 2, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved and devoted husband of Rosemarie (nee Prell) for 66 years, dear father of Thomas W., Jr. (Janet), Laureen Baker, Mary (Michael F. Pavlak), Jeanne, Dennis (Lisa), Ann Raguz (Steven), and Joan Giberti (Michael). Dearest grandfather of Andrew Boutton (Emily) and Kelly Ransom (Eric), Julia Baker and Cara Detwiler (Sean), Michael J. (Alice), Nicholas (Katie), and Claire Pavlak, Jeffrey (Karen) and Pamela Boutton, Christopher and Katherine Raguz, and Matthew Giberti. Great Grandfather to Thomas, Liam, and Emma. Son of May C. and John J. Boutton (deceased). Brother of John D. Boutton (deceased) and Joan Dugan (deceased). Graduate of St. Ignatius High School class of 1946 and John Carroll University class of 1950. Served in the U.S. Army. Retired as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Stouffer Frozen Foods in 1985. A devout Catholic and man of integrity, he was a humble, generous, hard-working person with a great sense of humor. He devoted himself to his wife and family and was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer sage advice. He was an avid golfer who belonged to Acacia and Avon Oaks Country Clubs and the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. Thomas's family would like to acknowledge devoted caregiver Vitaliy Krasilnikov, the caring staff at Brighton Gardens, and the Hospice of the Western Reserve for their invaluable care and assistance during Thomas's final years. Funeral Mass Friday, January 6th St. Bernadette Church 2256 Clague Rd. at 10:30 a.m. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. Friends may call at THE McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD. (WEST OF COLUMBIA) THURSDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Ignatius High School Scholarship Fund or Malachi House.
