ROSEMARY MacMILLAN (nee Cannon), age 74. Born in Cleveland to the late William & Julia (Thistle) Cannon. Beloved wife of 55 years to Chuck with whom she built a life of enduring love and faith. Loving mother of Charlie (Kelly), Bridget (Dave DiCicco), Julie (Chris Husby), Annie Powell (Will) and Digger (Cathy). Dear grandmother of Jacob, Owen, Corey, Kyle, Colby, Jeb, Cissy, Tatum, Paige, Tess, Colin, Ella and the late Charlie. Sister of the late William Cannon (Patricia), Patrick Cannon (Joan), Kay Shriner (Robert) and Jane Walsh. Sister-in-law of Joan Cannon, Dick Walsh (Colleen) and Tom & Helen McBride. Her loss will be felt keenly by her family, many friends, nieces and nephews, and Kohl's. You knew she had remembered your birthday or marked an occasion if Irish soda bread or Hummingbird bread arrived on your doorstep. If a celebration called for singing, dancing, or napkin waving, she'd lead the charge! From her father's toast sung at every family event, "So here's to you, may your dreams come true, and your love blest, that's our best to you." Passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 5, 2017. Funeral Mass Saturday, February 11, 2017, St. Ladislas Church, 2345 Basset Rd. at 9:30a.m. Interment private. Friends may call at the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD. (WEST OF COLUMBIA) FRIDAY 2-7 P.M. Family suggests memorial contributions to the Cannon Family Scholarship Fund at Saint Joseph Academy or Saint Mark Catholic School.
