FLORENCE D. MATHIAS (nee Duffy) age 86, beloved wife of the late Frank F. Mathias; loving mother of Nancy Sullivan (Patrick), Frank F. Mathias Jr. (Catherine) and Susan Mathias (Ken Gross) of Freeport, Maine; dearest grandma of Kenneth, Elisabeth, Susan, John and Thomas Sullivan; Bridget and Helen Mathias; sister of Paul, Joanne Cornett, Lawrence and the late Bridget Rigdon, Thomas, Margaret Cosko, Lucy Leaming, Edward and Virginia Talbott; aunt and great aunt of many. Florence was a resident of Dayton for many years, moving to Rocky River in 2012. She was a nurse for over 30 years. Passed away, Friday, October 14, 2016. Funeral Mass, St. Christopher Church (20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River), Tuesday, October 18th at 11:00 am. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gathering Area of St. Christopher TUESDAY MORNING FROM 10:00 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am. Family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Relief Services, P.O. Box 17090, Baltimore, MD 21297-0303.
